In just his second start as an official member of the PGA Tour, Matt McCarty has claimed his first trophy. Reaching 23 under for the tournament, McCarty put some ground between himself and the field across four days in Utah to achieve a three-stroke victory over Stephan Jaeger at the 2024 Black Desert Championship.
What Matt McCarty earned for winning in his third career PGA Tour start
McCarty was already exempt into the 2025 Players Championship and U.S. Open by finishing first on the KFT points list. He's also the second player to earn a three-win promotion from the KFT and then win on the PGA Tour in the same season (Jason Gore, 2005).
