Epic Games Store has not one, but two free games for all EGS users to download between now and October 17. Unfortunately, this week’s free Epic Games Store games are not as notable as most weeks, though there is a new horror game for those on PC looking for a new horror game to play

Following its early access release, the Avalanche-based battle royale shooter Off the Grid saw notable traction on the Epic Games Store.

Epic Games Store general manager Steve Allison also said the Free Games program is coming to the mobile app.

Epic Games is planning to introduce a free games program to iPhone and Android owners in the future, alongside better social features.

The Google Play store has to open for 3 years to give competing platforms a chance to take the fight to it on Android devices.

Google will be restricted from paying fees or sharing revenue with companies in exchange for them choosing to not compete with Google's app store.

Galactic Survival and Outliver: Tribulation until October 17. Next free games on Epic Games Store are Invincible Presents: Atom Eve and Kardboard Kings starting October 17. Invicible and Kardboard Kings will be available to claim until October 24.

Since it’s the month of Halloween and all things horror in October, the Epic Games Store is giving away Outliver: Tribulation and Empyrion – Galactic Survival. Epic Games store describes this single player survival horror games as follows: “African Mythology meets Survival-Horror and Souls-like!
