One man has now offered to step in and replace Tyson if he is unable to make it to fight night, and that is former world heavyweight champion Shannon Briggs. Briggs himself hasn’t fought professionally for nearly 10 years, with his last bout coming in 2016, but he has told Bloody Elbow he plans to return soon and would take on Paul.
